The eighth distribution of the Waste Workers Emergency Relief Project was successfully conducted in Baniyataar. The project reached out to a total of 20 waste workers. They were provided with the standard ration packages, medicines, and awareness materials.
The waste workers were also given a brief demonstration on the proper handwashing technique, use, and removal of gloves and masks, reusable sanitary pads as well as information about the use of medicines.
The distribution was conducted in the facilitation of our partner, Himalayan Climate Initiative (HCI).
65 ration packages were also handed over to Sumeera Shrestha of Women for Human Rights (WHR) which would be distributed to the waste workers in the facilitation of WHR.
