On October 24, 2024, we wrapped up the first year of GreenShift Nepal project, with a two-day Annual Review & Experience Sharing program, uniting all stakeholders and beneficiaries from our diverse initiatives: Private Waste Enterprises, Climate Smart Schools, Youth Groups, and Waste Smart Fellows.

Hosted collaboratively by CREASION and our consortium partners—Restless Development and Youth Innovation Lab—this event was a powerful reflection of our achievements. On day one, we reviewed our project’s progress and impact, sharing invaluable insights from our beneficiaries, and on day two we celebrated our achievements of the first year, honoring all our stakeholders' and beneficiaries.

The event was graced by Majali Shakya Bajracharya, Deputy Mayor, Lalitpur Metropolitan City, H.E. Ambassador Veronique Lorenzo, EU Delegation to Nepal, Geertrui Louwagie, Deputy Head of Cooperation, European Union, Aanand Mishra, Founder & President, CREASION, Pradip Khatiwada, Executive Director, Youth Innovation Lab and Sangita Maharjan, Program Manager, Restless Development Nepal.

Together, we paused to celebrate our collective efforts and the strides we’ve made toward a just transition to a circular economy. This gathering embodied the essence of GreenShift: to engage, educate, and empower every voice in this transformative journey.
